What Is Hydro-Jetting, You Ask?

Hydro-Jetting, often referred to as just “jetting”, is a process in which water is pressurized (typically between 2,500-4,000 PSI for piping) through a semi-flexible hose system with a high-pressure nozzle attachment connected on the end.

Once pressurized, this allows for multiple powerful “jet” streams that clean the interior walls of the piping. Jetting can usually be performed through clean-outs, blind flanges, or simply cut and enter the piping.

With a powerful enough Jetter one can jet through: tree roots, grease, scaling, sludge, mineral buildup, wax, or other substances with ease.

How Can Hydro-Jetting Benefit You?

Our hydro-jetting services provide:

  • Complete Cleaning, Not Just Unclogging: Traditional “mechanical” methods only remove blockages, our hydro-jetting system cleans the entire interior 360-degree diameter of your pipes, eliminating and removing ALL debris and/or buildup in the pipe allowing optimal flow and operation of your system. Jetting allows for longer service/maintenance intervals compared to traditional “mechanical” methods.

  • Cost-Effective Maintenance: While initial costs may be higher than basic “mechanical” or snaking methods, jetting provides longer-lasting results and prevents recurring issues, saving you money over time.

  • Environmental Compliance: At BIOVAC, we think it’s important to maintain a healthy and clean environment, that’s why we don’t EVER use chemicals for our cleaning processes. Jetting is a chemical-free cleaning method that is safe for facilities near water sources and eliminates concerns about chemical disposal or environmental impacts.

  • Preventive Maintenance: Regular hydro-jetting maintenance prevents expensive emergency situations and helps avoid costly overflow events or production shutdowns.

  • Versatile Applications: From small drain lines to major industrial systems, our hydro-jetting equipment can handle any size pipeline or infrastructure. Typical piping systems range from 4” to 60” piping.

Applications We Serve

  • Commercial Systems: Complete cleaning of grease traps, storm drains, and building infrastructure to prevent costly backups and maintain health code compliance.

  • Municipal Systems: Professional maintenance of sanitary sewers, Ponds, storm drains, and lift stations to keep public infrastructure operating at peak efficiency.

  • Industrial Systems: Specialized cleaning of process piping, force mains, and transfer lines to restore optimal flow rates and protect valuable infrastructure.

  • Water Treatment Systems: Expert cleaning of filtration systems, tanks, media beds, clarifiers, and treatment equipment to maintain operational efficiency and meet environmental standards.

  • Equipment Cleaning: Precision cleaning of heat exchangers, boilers, tanks, and process machinery to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
